RadSamp loads complete samples into system memory at present, for best performance and
instant start playback. A typical Pentium 166MMX with 32MB Ram should be able to
load and play up to 20MB of samples at once, with no other applications loaded.
These figures are a guideline ONLY - as systems vary widely in performance and
configuration.
RadSamp will play 10 or more samples at once, typically all 20 - although please note
that a PC keyboard is the limiting factor in starting more than a few samples together.
Latency is normally undetectable, where the system has enough free memory to load all
samples.
Samples MUST be .wav format, almost all .wav variants are supported.
Note. Other formats can be converted to .wav format using audio editing
software.
Each channel can be adjusted in volume from 0dB to -30dB and tempo from -10% to
+10% in 0.1% steps.
One bank can be loaded while the other is playing, subject to system performance.
